Kieran Richardson has today signed with Sunderland. I think this is a good move for Kieran - he wasn’t getting the playing time at Old Trafford that a player of his skill deserves. I’ve always felt that he was full of potential but lacked confidence and experience. Hopefully he will be a first team regualr at Sunderland and will gain the confidence to play quality and consistent football. Clearly, manager Roy Keane believes in Kieran too; after all they did spend time in midfield while Roy was still with United.

Good luck to him and good on Roy for giving him the opportunity.
