The TFCMLS blog over at blogspot.com is reporting a rumour that TFC is about to sign a new keeper to replace start Greg Sutton who is likely out for the season. Be sure to check out the site for updates and speculation.

This move, unfortunately, seems to be necessary at this point. If the team is going to turn around this recent slide in form it will have to start filling the holes - all of them, but especially in the back. It’s been awhile since we’ve had the growing pains of an expansion team in Toronto, but these are felt even more by Toronto FC fans because of the passion behind their support. The passion deserves a winning team, but the product, as is, is not up to that level. So, improvements need to be made while the current squad matures. If that means taking on a loaner from Portsmouth, as tfcmls.blogspot.com believes will be the case, then so be it.

We deserve to be in BMO field come the playoffs. We an only hope that the squad deserves it by then too.
